Unmanned Services Inc is offering a Unmanned Aircraft Ground School (UAGS) in partnership with The Regional Technology and Innovations Center located in Morehead, KY, May 22nd - 25th, 2017 from 8am to 4pm. The Course will be held inside the Kentucky Fire Commission’s Facility located at the Menifee-Morgan-Rowan Counties (MMRC) Economic Development Center: 99 Lake Park Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
Enrolling now, Civil and Commercial drone operators. Cost is $500 for the Basic Course, $550 for the Part 107 Course or only $1000 for the Combined Courses for civilians and public officials. Technical drone education and instruction is now available for government and private entities at a low cost and will help foster an unmanned aerial service sector within the Ohio River valley.
The Part 107 - Remote Pilot Certificate Course is composed of twenty (20) students and will prepare them for the FAA Part 107 small UAS practical knowledge test with verbal and hands on training in a classroom environment. Drone school students will receive instruction from FAA Commercial Flight Instructors (CFI) and will receive a 1 year on-line enrollment to a premium test prep site used by thousands of other student pilots to prepare for their FAA tests. Students will also receive a current copy of the FAR / AIM manual along with access to all digital study guides, manuals, and materials recommended by the FAA.

About the Courses
Basic Course - May 22nd - 23rd
In the Intro to UAS Course, you will learn everything you need to know in order to successfully and safely fly Unmanned Aerial Systems or “drones”. You will receive hands-on flight, maintenance, & troubleshooting training on the DJI Phantom 4 & 3D Robotics Solo drones and their individual components. You will also receive instruction on airspace regulations, preflight planning and simulator training prior to first flights during this 2-day course. Part 107 - May 24th - 25th
The Part 107 - Remote Pilot Certificate Course will prepare students for the FAA small UAS practical knowledge test by providing a 2-day course of verbal and hands-on training in a classroom environment. Drone school students will also receive training from Federal Aviation Administered Certified Instructor Pilots (FAA CFI) on aircraft cameras & sensors, maintenance and flight operations programs. Combined Course - May 22nd - 25th
After taking both courses, you will have all the basic experience needed to fly drones as well as all the FAA licensing tools and basic knowledge to get ready to take the test. Completion of these two courses means you are well on your way to becoming a professional drone pilot, which will allow you to fly drones as part of your work, business, or the civil/public agency you are an employee of.
